Fish Out Of Water
Toyota tasked Spirit Marketing to create a national buzz and increase consideration amongst the non-traditional Motorsports audience. A significant mutual appreciation for each other’s sports was recognized between the NASCAR fan and fisherman. Spirit engaged Mike Iaconelli in a fun scripted story “ Fish Out of Water” was produced for distribution as social media content.
The results exceeded expectations. The story was distributed on Toyota Racing web and social media sites as well as a feature video on Yahoo Sports.

Davy Knowles Headliner for Salute Beer and Food Festival
Davy Knowles is the headliner for the Salute Beer & Food Festival. We met with Davy at a Santa Barbara harbor cruise and talked about his playing at the festival. He is a very genuine and talented man.
This was also one of the simplest and fun shoots we have had. For the song we simply set up the camera on sticks and pushed record. Like Davy we were mostly unpluged.

Toyota Motor Sales uses auto racing to engage with its existing customer base and attract new customers with the message that their brand is reliable and a performance product. Also that top level athletes are attracted to the brand and work to support the message.
“In The Blink of an Eye” is the story about Del Worsham, an athlete that fought hard during the 2011 National Hot Rod Association Top Fuel Dragster racing series to capture the title of Champion.
